How long have you been an artist? |
I've been coloring comicbook art and illustrations for about three years now. |

What are some of your major art influences? |
I don't think I have one specific artist I could name as an influence. I know I really love what Laura Martin does with her coloring in the books she works on (Planetary, Astonishing X-Men), just to name one from the top of my head. I like her sutle but moody style. |

What are some of your major genre influences? |
I'm a big comic-book fan, so I'd say the Superheroe genre in particular is what I like the most, but Fantasy and Sci-Fi come in a close second. |

What sort of training/schooling/experience do you have with art? |
Ever since highschool I knew I was gonna pursue some kind of art-related career. I decided to go with graphic design because it had all these other areas where you can branch out to. I graduated from the Facultad de Bellas Artes (School of Fine Arts) of the local University with a degree in Visual Communication Design. I don't have an artistic background in the traditional sense, so I'm pretty much self-tought in that area. I should also say that getting some of my early coloring work up in some showcase forums over the internet really helped, I got some useful feedback from a lot of people. |

How did you become involved in Empty Room Studios? |
Well, I've been coloring stuff for Baeg Tobar (one weekly webcomic and a series of illustrations) for over two years now, and Jeremy and Rick seem to like what I'm doing over there so they invited me to be part of ERS. |
